Gregory Monter Obituary

Gregory Lee Monter, of Cadillac, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2023 at his home with family by his side. He was 67.
Gregory was born on May 19, 1956 to Ernest and Lucille (Welton) Monter in Pontiac, Michigan. He attended Cadillac High School. On July 7, 2007 he entered into marriage with Colleen Johnson in Cadillac, Michigan.
Gregory is survived by his loving wife, Colleen; one sister, Cynthia Monter of Cadillac; daughter, Angela (Tike) Johnson of Cadillac; daughter-in-law, Jamie Monter of Vassar; grandchildren, Kirstie Maier, Nathaniel Monter, Tyler Vanocker, Tyler Edwards, Ricky Turnblom, Caleb Monter, and Alyssa Monter; great-grandchildren, Zaylee Johnston, Ember Aspgren, Harley Monter and Ava Monter; and many other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Monter; mother, Lucille Monter; and sons, Mark Decator and Harley Monter.
A graveside memorial and celebration of lie will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions or flowers may be directed to the Monter family, in care of Hitesman-Holdship Funeral Home.
