Gregory Neer Obituary
Services will be held Thursday, September 22, at 3pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chester.
Greg was born December 18, 1971 in Great Falls to Gary and Sally Mummey Neer. He attended school in Great Falls. He worked at Spuds Café in Chester as a cook until 2005. Greg then went to work for Columbia Grain Elevator in Tiber, MT.
Greg married Tina Houle at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Chester.
In Greg's earlier years he enjoyed dirt biking, playing on leagues for softball, pool, and darts while hanging out with his many friends. He was passionate about being a father to his kids and an uncle to his nephews. Greg enjoyed attending all their various events in life. He enjoyed being a 4-H leader and all the friendships he made in his years involved in 4-H. Greg loved early morning hunting trips, riding his Harley, camping at Tiber Dam, and taking vacations with his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Tina; children, Dace Houle Neer of Chester and Kyran Neer of Columbia Falls; siblings, Tim Neer of Malta, Elizabeth (Joe) Rovreit of Great Falls, and Cindy (Tracy) Nelson of Joplin; brother-in-law, Tim Topel; nephews, Clinton, Tim, Damon, Brooks, Jerek, Rishon, Makai, Byron, and Ridge; great nephew, Elijah; niece, Keanna; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
