Gregory Osman Obituary

He was born January 25, 1955, in Jamestown, a son of the late Ames and JoAnne Markham Osman.
Greg was a 1973 graduate of Southwestern Central School and went on to earn an associate degree in business from Jamestown Community College.
For many years he was employed by Allstar Ambulance as an EMT. At one time he owned and operated the Subway Sub Shop and recently retired as the code enforcement officer in Sherman, NY.
He was a proud member of the Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department for over 50 years. In 1979 he received the Mayor's Award for rescuing two elderly women from a structure fire and was always proud to say he has delivered more than one baby in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
Surviving is his wife Cynthia Wood Osman, whom he married June 5, 1982; a daughter Bethany (Derek) Reed of New Market, MD; a grandson Oscar Gregory Reed and a brother Jeff (Michelle) Osman of Kennedy.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by an infant sister Karen Osman.
In keeping with Greg's wishes no funeral service or visitation will be observed.
Memorials may be made to Lakewood Volunteer Fire Department.
