Gregory Hardy Peacock, 54-year-old Langley area resident, passed away on Monday, July 28, 2025, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on February 2, 1971, in McGehee, Arkansas to Hardy Benjamin Peacock and Karen Marie Bernardy. Greg was a self-employed carpenter/cabinet builder for many years before becoming disabled. He was united in marriage to Savanna Renee (Hughes) on October 24, 2015, in Ketchum. Greg loved carpentry work, was an artist, tattoo artist and remake specialist, collected mini-bikes, worked on old cars, most of all he loved people, especially his children.
He was preceded in death by his father Hardy Benjamin Peacock in 2008 and a brother Ethan Peacock in 2006.
The family includes his wife Savanna Peacock of the home; his mother, Karen Bernardy and husband Jose Yanez of Grove; his children, Gregory William Peacock of Beaverton, Oregon, Tristan, Wyatt, and Madison Peacock all of the home; sisters, Raeganne Terrell and husband Jeffery of Grove, Salem Whalen of Sierra Vista, Arizona, Elizabeth Bernardy of Bake City, Oregon; best friend and nephew, Nathaniel "Bug" Bernardy.
The family is going to have a celebration of life at their home at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.highsmithfh.com or on the funeral home Facebook page. Arrangements are in the care of the Burckhalter-Highsmith Funeral and Cremation Services of Vinita. "Vinita's only locally family owned and operated funeral home."
