Gregory Scott Quesenberry has gained his angel wings and went home to be with the Lord. He passed away at home on December 5th, surrounded by the love of his life. He was 53 years old.
Greg was born on October 3rd, 1969 to Turner and Hattie Quesenberry. He was raised and lived his whole life in Dugspur.
He was loved by so many people and touched so many lives. If he had the opportunity to help a friend, or even a stranger, he took it. He happily and with such love would do anything he could for anyone he met, and never asked for anything in return. He was always giving and never taking.
He was such a light in this world. You could always catch him with a grin on his face and probably being goofy. He lived life with such love and happiness. If you ever got the chance to meet Greg, then you know your life has been touched.
He was a loving husband to his wife of 16 years, Lebrina Quesenberry, or to him, Brie. Married within months of meeting, they created a beautiful life together. Raising children and spoiling lots of grandkids. Becoming parents together, which would truly be one of Greg's greatest blessings. Greg and Brie made many memories together, and those memories will last a lifetime. He'd constantly tell you Brie was spoiled, but he'd spoil her everyday for the rest of his life.
Greg was also a father, and the best one. He was patient, kind, and understanding. Someone you could bring anything to, and he would give you guidance. He was always giving the kids a hard time saying "you're grounded' for the silliest things, when truly the man didn't have a mean bone in his body. It was a blended household and Greg was the glue, and because of the unconditional love he showed, it's a family.
Greg was one little girl's whole world, and she was his also. His baby girl, Bella, brought so much joy to his life. He became the best dad to this tiny baby in an instant. Teaching her all about cars and getting his butt whooped at board games. There isn't anything that man wouldn't have done for his little girl. They were truly two peas in a pod.
He was also a son who would do anything for his parents. A friend who'd lend a hand anytime. A co-worker who made the workday better. One thing Greg Quesenberry never was, is a stranger.
Give him an ounce of payment and he would black it up. He not only blacked roads, but his favorite smell was tire smoke and racing gas. There wasn't a year, make, or model of a car he couldn't tell you all about. While he was a Chevy man, he was a car fanatic. He was an avid mechanic. His most prized possession was his 69' Chevy Camaro that he loved to get sideways in.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Lebrina Quesenberry; parents, Turner and Hattie Quesenberry; son, Jacob Quesenberry and wife, Chelsey; bonus daughters, Brittany Payne, Whittany Pyles, Chelsea Douglas, and Kelsea Thornburg; his baby girl, Bella Quesenberry; grandchildren, Colton Miller, Derra Thomas, Jase, Lily, and River Bedsaul, Kailynn and Carlee Thornburg; grandmother, Ollie Quesenberry; special friends, Tuff, Scott, Richie, Hornet, Alex and Thomas; and many other special family members and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 beginning at 1:00 PM at High Country Services with Rev. Chris Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Greg Quesenberry Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM until 1:00PM at High Country Services.
