It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gregory Ray, age 42, on January 15, 2025. Gregory was born on February 14, 1982, and was a cherished husband, son, brother, “Uncle Giigi”, cousin, nephew and friend
He is survived by his loving wife, Brieanna Ray; his parents, Thomas and Elaine Ray; his brother, CJ Ray, sister-in-law Erin Ray; and his two nieces, Hazel and Ruby Ray, his fur baby Sarabi, numerous Aunts Uncles, cousins, in the Ray and Croteau families, all of whom he adored deeply.
Greg was a kind and intelligent soul, known for his passion for science, his love of all things Ghostbusters, and his collection of unique and fascinating items. He had a special affinity for fidget toys, video games and dragons. He embraced his strong faith in Jesus at The Life Church as a greeter. Professionally, Greg worked as a Quality Control Manager at a plastics manufacturing firm, where his attention to detail and dedication to his work earned him the respect of his colleagues. Though Greg is no longer with us, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His wit, curiosity, and gentle nature will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, January 21, 10am to 12pm followed by a prayer service at noon, Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg MA 01420.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Life Church, P.0. Box 393, Leominster, MA01453 or https://thelifechurchma.com/give/donate/?fund=Massachusetts+Campus. Gregory’s family asks that you remember him as he lived — with love and a deep appreciation for the unique beauty of the world around him.
