Gregory was not only a loving husband but also a devoted father, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend. His strong ties to family were evident in every aspect of his life, always making time for those he cherished. As a licensed and ordained minister, Gregory had a profound impact on the lives of many, offering guidance and support through his faith. Athletically gifted, Gregory attended James Madison High School in Dallas, Texas, where he excelled in football, track, and swimming, graduating as part of the class of 1980. He then continued his football journey at Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he further developed his skills and passion for the sport. A true fan at heart, he supported the Dallas Cowboys with unwavering loyalty throughout his life.
Gregory's impact will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege to know him. His vibrant spirit and commitment to family, faith, and friendship serve as a lasting testament to a life well-lived.
A viewing will be held on February 6, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Fwy, Dallas, TX 75224. A funeral service will follow on February 7, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Full Gospel Holy Temple, situated at 39727 Lyndon B Johnson Freeway, Dallas, TX 75237.
Gregory Donald Spencer will be deeply missed, but his legacy will continue in the hearts of those he loved and those who loved him.
