Gregory A. Van Sciver, 33, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away on May 5, 2024.
Greg was born on October 10, 1990 to Joanne (nee Siciliano) and Albert Van Sciver in Voorhees, NJ. He was a lifelong resident of Mount Laurel and a 2009 graduate of Lenape High School. Greg was an excellent athlete in high school, excelling in pole vaulting (county champion) and wrestling (making it to the regional championships.) He was a member of the South Park Hunting Club and he enjoyed hunting, fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. Greg liked video games and was a metal detectorist. He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Local 9. He was a member of Saint John Neumann Church and the Knights of Columbus Council 7755. Greg will be missed deeply by his family.
Greg is survived by his loving parents, Joanne and Albert Van Sciver; his children, Stella and Anello Van Sciver; sisters, Alicia Mahar (Fred) and Marissa Van Sciver; nephew, Jack Mahar; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to Greg's viewing on Monday, May 13, 2024 from 8:30AM – 11:00AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:30AM at Saint John Neumann Church, 560 Walton Avenue, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Entombment at New Saint Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Greg's name to the Friends of The Cistercian Monastery, 112 Haddontowne Court, Ste 302, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

I guess Greg was maybe 12 when I first met him- one of my daughters many friends from Middle school, a very sweet and nice kid- my heart breaks for Al and Joann and all the family - too soon, too senseless- so very sorry
