Gregory Webb Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cooke-Campbell Mortuary - Maynardville on Jan. 1, 2026.
Gregory Lynn Webb-age 52, of Maynardville, Tennessee, traveled to paradise after a courageous three-year battle with multiple myeloma, Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Greg is survived by his devoted wife, Deanna Webb (Wallace); his daughter, Lashea Walters (Jeremy); and his "like" daughter, Beth Smith (Corey). He leaves behind his treasured granddaughters, Kailyn and Chloe Walters, and his "like" granddaughters, Camryn and Henleigh Smith, who they lovingly know as their Pappy. His girls were the absolute light of his life. Also left to cherish his memory is his beloved Yorkie, Louie, who never left his side. Greg is also survived by his loving sweet mother, Betty Webb; his brothers, Allen and Jason Webb; and his half-sister, Candace Crawford. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Webb, brother, Tim Webb, best friends Greg Evans and Christy Greene LaRue. Greg was a member of Chestnut Grove Baptist Church of Maynardville, TN, which was his family's church.

Greg was a long time, dedicated employee of Beverly Steel, where he took pride in his work as a salesman. His family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to his boss Joe and co-workers for the kindness, support, and compassion shown to Greg throughout the years, it meant more than words can express.

Extended gratitude to all of our friends and loved ones for the visits, texts, calls, messages, and all the thoughts and prayers lovingly given.

Outside of work, Greg's pleasure was fishing. But more than fishing, he loved spending time with his family. Nothing brought him greater joy than the many summer nights spent in the pool, hot tub and fireside with his grand-girls playing shark, singing Reba's "Fancy,"and keeping the fire pit going so he could keep them stocked with s'mores.

Greg cherished our family vacations at the beach, rolling in the waves with his grandkids and jokingly telling them he was "one with the manta rays." He was known for his morning trips to the doughnut shop, making sure everyone got their favorite because whether the task was big or small, he always made sure his girls were taken care of.

Anyone who knew Greg loved Greg. He carried a gentle spirit and a calming presence that never faltered.

There are countless things we will miss. While we find comfort in knowing he is with our Lord and Savior awaiting his family, our selfish hearts will always wish for more time, one more sunset on the beach, one more lap around the pool, or one more sled ride down the hill.

Gregory Lynn Webb was deeply loved, and his legacy lives on in every life he touched.

To keep Greg's wishes there will be no services. He wanted his life celebrated not mourned. Arrangements by Cooks-Campbell Mortuary, Maynardville.
