Gregory Brent Westington

Gregory Brent Westington, passed away August 20, 2025 at the age of 57.

Greg is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Westington.

Survived by his loving partner of 15 years, Donna Spears, mother, Jeanette Westington, Bayville, NJ, sisters, Lora (Todd) Kunego, Karen (Matt) Ibold, and Susan Westington, along with many nieces and nephews. His loving Tennessee family, Debbi Spears, Danny (Yvonne) Spears, David (Sharon) Spears, Jennifer Smith, Tucker and Tatum Willis along with many loving family and friends.

Greg devoted 25 years of his career to Bank of New York Pershing, where he not only built a respected professional legacy but also formed lifelong friendships. He valued the colleagues he worked alongside and counted many of them as close friends.

Greg had a generous spirt, loved his family and friends, and found joy in life's simple pleasures from fishing, playing guitar, and music. He especially enjoyed designing, building, and riding bicycles, a passion that reflected both his creativity and his hands-on nature. Greg was also dedicated to his community, volunteering for Meals on Wheels and always offering help whenever it was needed. Those who knew him best will remember his kindness, humor, and unwavering willingness to do anything for others. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A Remembrance service honoring Greg will be held at a later date.
