Gregory C. Williams
Gregory C. Williams, born on March 6, 1956, passed away on January 31, 2026, at UHS Wilson Hospital. He devoted many years of his professional life to the Aero Spinning yarn manufacturing plant on Erie Avenue, and spent over 30 years dedicated to Master's Concrete until his retirement on October 31, 2025.
A proud graduate of Susquehanna Community High School, Gregory's education laid the foundation for his industrious career. Known for his huge heart, he had a unique talent for making others laugh, often delighting friends with his good-natured humor and playful jokes. He loved attending fairs and carnivals, and spending as much time as he could with his family.
Gregory cherished the beauty of the outdoors and enjoyed hobbies that kept him close to nature, including hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for watching wrestling on television, attending car shows, and antique cars, which brought him much joy throughout his life.
He is survived by his son, John Ballard; grandson, Kristian; sister, Grace Williams; aunts, Sharon Wolf, Barb Wolf (Lee), and Dawn Bills; nephews, Joseph Williams, James Clark, and Edward Wilber; great niece, Josephina Clark; Additionally, Gregory leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Williams, and his mother, Iliene Hine. Gregory's spirit and love will continue to resonate within the hearts of all who knew him. His legacy of laughter and love will be profoundly missed.
Per Gregory's request, there will be no funeral services.
