Grenita Jean DuBose, age 61, of Moss Point, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2025. She was born on May 31, 1964, in Pascagoula, Mississippi, and grew into a woman whose wisdom, joy, and strength touched the lives of everyone she met.

Grenita was a proud graduate of Moss Point High School, Class of 1982, and continued her education at Xavier University of Louisiana, where she earned her degree in Computer Engineering. She dedicated many years to the Municipal Court of Moss Point as the court clerk before working with the Moss Point School District Technology Department. She worked with passion and excellence before retiring, and her impact on students, staff, and the community remains a lasting legacy.

A devoted member of Saint Paul United Methodist Church, Grenita lived a life guided by faith, purpose, and compassion. She cherished spending time with her entire family, laughing with classmates, and friends, and dancing whenever the moment called for joy.

Known for her enthusiastic spirit, sharp mind, loving heart, and wife, steady nature, she brought warmth and clarity to all who knew her.

Grenita is preceded in death by her loving parents, Kirkland and Mildred DuBose; her grandparents, Howard and Shoffie DuBose, and Eddie and Bernice Miller; her brother, Eddie DuBose; her sister, Gwendolyn (Vette) Bivins; her nephew, Antonious (Jermaine) DuBose; as well as 6 uncles and 3 aunts.

Grenita leaves behind a legacy of love through her children, Curt Harris, Kirkland Harris, Karlus Dubose, and Kewauna DuBose; her grandchildren, Akeriah Harris, Karlee DuBose, and Koiree Odom; and her bonus loved ones, Tom (TC) Davis, Carrie Brown, Taleah Brown, Kenyun Brown and Kaiyden Mitchell. She is survived by her beloved immediate family, Vickie (John) Williams, Kirtisene DuBose-Bivins, Marcia (Lige)Mims, and Mikki (Billy) Jones, and along with numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and her friends.
