Greta Hearron Baria, 77, passed away on Mon. April 14, 2025, in Brandon, MS. A visitation will be held on Fri. April 18, 2025, from 4pm-6pm at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS.
Mrs. Baria was born on Dec. 14, 1947, in Meridian, MS to the late Aussie Sanford Hearron and Lorainne Thompson Hearron.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Baria; four children, Scott Whigham (Susan), Bonnie Baria, Vincent Baria (Mary Brooke) and Jill Lynch (Sean); nine grandchildren, Seth Whigham, Jase Gordon, Wyatt Whigham, Ben Baria, John Baria, Louisa Baria, Hope Baria, Anna Baria Hall, and Daniel Baria; two sisters in law, Ann Hearron and Emory Baria; her many wonderful friends including, Peggy Kitchin, Lyla Carnley, Cathy French, Costa Morgan, Amy Wall, Rene Mott, Leone Hinzman, Kay Hudson and her loving pet dogs, Raven, Taffey and Sadie. Mrs. Baria is also preceded in death by her brother, Sandy Hearron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mississippi Animal Rescue League at 5221 Greenway Dr. Ext Jackson, MS 39204.
