Greta Fee Obituary
SOUTHBURY - Greta Fee, 92, of Southbury, CT, entered into eternal rest on August 31, 2025. Born to the late Catherine (Berry) and Frederick Broas, Greta graduated from Danbury High School in 1951, St. Vincent's School of Nursing, and later earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees from Sacred Heart University. She worked as a registered nurse at St. Vincent's Hospital and with the Sisters of the Holy Family, dedicating her career to caring for others. A devout Catholic, Greta found her greatest joy in family. In her later years, Sunday dinners became her favorite time, especially long conversations with her grandchildren. She reminded her loved ones often that material things never mattered as much as family. She was predeceased by her parents; her brother, Frederick Broas Jr.; and her nephew, William Broas. Greta is survived by her children, Mary Fee, Andrew Fee Jr., and David Fee; brothers, Kenneth and Patrick Broas; grandchildren, David (Becky), Michael (Victoria), Elissa (Evan), Catherine (Aaron), and Joseph Calandro; great-grandchildren, Emilia, Aubrie, Jonah, Luca, and Lily; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Greta's honor. Carpino Funeral Home is honored to have been entrusted with Greta's final care and arrangements.

I will always remember how my sister took such wonderful care of me. In my very early years Greta drove me to Bridgeport week after week for therapy for my neck and legs. Without her care I can't imagine what my life would have been like. May you always be blessed with the love of God, Love Always, your brother Patrick
