(née Greta Sandra Goldston), August 3, 2023 of Poughkeepsie, NY. Formerly of Winthrop and Cambridge, MA; Queens, NY; Reading, Wilkes-Barre and Elkins Park, PA; beloved wife of the late Roman A. Rubinstein; devoted mother to Wendy Preston (David), Lori Frechtman (Bill), Mark Rubinstein (Maria) and Lee Rubinstein; cherished grandmother of Sharon (John), Vincent (Shannon), Gus, Ariel, Ilana (Dan), Jordan, Becca (Kyle), Steven and Jason; and adored great grandmother of Isabella, Vivian, Sybil, Lilliana, George and Shayna.
Born on December 11,1933 in Winthrop, MA to the late Bernard Goldston and Rita Rubin Goldston, Greta was predeceased also by her beloved sister, Loreli Dolgoff.
Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services, Sunday, August 6, 1:00pm, at Adath Jeshurun Cemetery, 1855 Bridge Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124. Following interment, there will be a meal of consolation at DIM SUM FACTORY II (Krewstown) 8925 Krewstown Rd Philadelphia, PA 19115.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Greta’s memory may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice 374 Violet Avenue Poughkeepsie, NY 12601 (https://www.hvhospice.org/donate-now/#Donate) or a charity of the donor’s choice.

My condolences to Greta's family. I enjoyed spending time with her when I worked at The Landing. I enjoyed hearing her stories and viewing pictures. I will always remember her love of Mahjong and WWF.
