Publish in a newspaper

Grover Clyde "G.C." McInturff, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and cherished great-grandfather, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. G.C.'s family includes his beloved wife of 63 years, Sue; his five sons - Roger, Mickey, Phil, David, and John - and his daughter, Susan, who now rejoices with him in heaven. He was blessed with 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brother, Gordon McInturff, and was preceded in death by his two sisters, Betty Sloan and Emma Thomas. He is also lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews who adored him deeply.
G.C. lived a life rich in laughter, faith, and love. Known for his quick wit and playful sense of humor, he was always ready with a joke or story that could light up any room. His gift for storytelling made every tale come alive, and those who heard them will carry his words and laughter in their hearts forever.
A true Tennessee man, G.C. loved his Tennessee Volunteers and faithfully cheered for McMinn Central basketball. When he wasn't watching a game, he could often be found tending his bountiful garden - a place of peace and joy where he poured his care into every plant. But above all, G.C. loved Jesus. His faith guided every part of his life, and his quiet strength and gentle spirit reflected the grace he found in the Lord. G.C. served the Lord faithfully for many years, sharing the Gospel from the pulpit with passion and conviction. His love for the Lord shone brightly - he shared his faith with everyone he met, whether in the church, in his community, or wherever God placed him. Through his ministry, his words, and his example, countless lives were touched by his unwavering devotion and his desire that all would come to know the Savior he so dearly loved. To his wife, he was a steadfast partner. To his children, an encourager. To his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a source of laughter and unconditional love. G.C.'s life was a blessing to all who knew him, and though he is with his precious Lord, his legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in every life he touched.
A celebration of G.C.'s life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 3 P.M. in Biereley-Hale Chapel. Interment to follow at Lands Chapel Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to gather, share stories and memories, and celebrate a life well lived from 1-3 P.M. Sunday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.. "Well done, good and faithful servant Enter into the joy of your Lord." - Matthew 25:23
