Guadalupe Abrego Ramirez, Sr., 66, was born on July 27, 1959, in Valle Hermoso, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and entered eternal rest on February 24, 2026, in Houston, Texas.

Guadalupe was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and friend who was deeply loved by all who knew him. He embraced life fully and gave generously—even when he had little to give. A hardworking and dedicated man, Guadalupe carried himself with integrity and always brought his best to every situation and every relationship.

He lived each day to the fullest, guided by a free spirit and a genuine love for people. Guadalupe never met a stranger; he could strike up a conversation with anyone and had a remarkable gift for making others feel welcome. Known for his charm and charisma, he was also a source of wisdom and encouragement, always ready with thoughtful advice and kind words.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Abel Abrego and Alicia Ramirez, and his brother, Antonio Abrego Ramirez.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved children: Guadalupe Abrego Jr. and wife Kelly; Dora Chagolla and husband Gabriel; and Angela Abrego and husband Christopher. He was a proud grandfather to Rebecca, Cassedy, Emely, Geovanni, Angel, Guadalupe, Christina, Ricky, and Chris Jr.

Guadalupe is also survived by his brothers, Jose Luis and Timoteo Abrego; his sisters, Avelina, Patty, and Angelina; as well as many extended family members and a host of dear friends.

Guadalupe Abrego Ramirez, Sr. will be profoundly missed, but the love, laughter, and memories he shared will forever remain in the hearts of those blessed to know him.
