Guadalupe S. Rivera, 82, entered into eternal rest on April 18, 2023 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alvaro Kennard Rivera; parents, Jose Elias Soto and Maria Vasquez. Guadalupe is survived by her loving son, Daniel Ernesto Rivera. Daughters, Maria C. Odom, Cynthia A. Berumen, Roseanne E. Ortiz and Christine E. Rivera. Her sister, Irene Rosemond. Also leaving behind 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren to honor and cherish her memory forever.
A Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a Rosary starting at 7:00 PM on Monday, April 24, 2023 at Sunset Funeral Home- Americas, 9521 North Loop Dr, El Paso, Texas 79907. A Mass will begin at 11:30 AM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 14600 Horizon Blvd, Horizon City, TX 79928. A Graveside will follow at 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, Texas 79906. Services entruste to Sunset Funeral Home- Americas.
