Guadalupe Luis Rivera, lovingly known as Lupe (Pops), passed away on January 24, 2026, at the age of 84. Born in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, he lived a life rooted in love, service, and family.
He was the devoted husband of Hilda Velez and the son of Luis Rivera David & Tomasa Medina Santiago. Guadalupe proudly served in the United States military with honor and distinction.
He is survived by his loving children: Luis A. Rivera, Ramon L. Rivera, Elizabeth Rivera, Raquel Rivera, Joanna Velez, Marcus A. Velez, Mildred Velez, and Maria Velez, and was preceded in death by Luis Velez. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Cemetery 14609 Brookpark Rd. Brook Park, OH 44142 (please meet at cemetery gates by 10:45 a.m.).
