With profound love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Guadalupe Vera Torres, 81, who was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico on December 30, 1943, and entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on August 23, 2025 in Houston, Texas.

Guadalupe was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her life was defined by faith, family, and love. She dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her husband, children, and grandchildren, always guiding them with wisdom, patience, and grace. Known for her nurturing spirit and incredible cooking, Guadalupe created a home filled with warmth, joy, and comfort. She had a gift for listening and offering counsel, and her gentle strength was a source of encouragement to all who knew her.

She leaves behind a legacy of love, devotion, and faith that will continue to inspire generations.

Guadalupe is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Hector Torres, Sr.; her children, Hector Torres, Jr. wife Sandra, Jorge Torres wife Diana, daughter; Flora Torres; her brother, Juan Vera; her cherished grandchildren, Maritza, Joshua, Sabrina, Jorge Jr., Alysa, Emily, Nicholas, and Samantha; and her precious great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Julian, Savannah, and Sophia.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her.

Con profundo amor y gratitud celebramos la vida de Guadalupe Vera Torres, de 81 años, quien nació en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México el 30 de diciembre de 1943 y partió a la presencia de su Señor y Salvador el 23 de agosto de 2025 en Houston, Texas.

Guadalupe fue una esposa, madre, abuela, bisabuela, hermana y amiga dedicada. Su vida estuvo definida por la fe, la familia y el amor. Se entregó con todo el corazón a su esposo, hijos y nietos, siempre guiándolos con sabiduría, paciencia y gracia. Reconocida por su espíritu bondadoso y su inigualable talento en la cocina, Guadalupe creó un hogar lleno de calidez, alegría y consuelo. Tenía el don de escuchar y brindar consejo; su fortaleza y dulzura fueron siempre una fuente de ánimo para quienes la rodeaban.

Deja como herencia un legado de amor, devoción y fe que seguirá inspirando a las futuras generaciones.

Guadalupe deja en este mundo a su amado esposo por 56 años, Héctor Torres, Sr.; a sus hijos, Héctor Torres, Jr. esposa Sandra, Jorge Torres esposa Diana y hija Flora Torres; a su hermano, Juan Vera; a sus nietos, Maritza, Joshua, Sabrina, Jorge Jr., Alysa, Emily, Nicholas y Samantha; así como a sus bisnietos, Isaiah, Julián, Savannah y Sophia.

Su recuerdo vivirá por siempre en los corazones de su familia y de todos aquellos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerla.
