Guillermo "Billy" Garcia, aged 69, passed away on September 27, 2024. He was a beloved son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Billy was born on June 25, 1955, in Havana, Cuba where he spent his early years. His formative years were enjoyed in Hartford, CT.
He went on to attend Pharmacy School at The University of Connecticut and later became a pharmacist at various retail pharmacies. Throughout his career, he was known for his hard work, dedication, and passion for helping others.
But more than anything, Billy was a devoted and selfless family man. He loved spending time with his brothers and friends sharing stories, having laughs, and watching and conversing about sports. Especially in the South of Fifth neighborhood in Miami Beach where he spent many years. He was always there to offer guidance, support, and encouragement.
Billy is survived by his loving Brothers, Bernabe, Alexander, and John, his sisters-in-law, and his nieces and nephews. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A funeral service will be held for family and friends at Van Orsdel Funeral located at
