Guillermo Rosales Obituary

The world got a little quieter - and maybe a little less honest - when Guillermo, age 87, passed away on 11/1/2025.

Guillermo was a man who did things his way, and that was that. He loved his family fiercely, worked harder than just about anyone, and never once asked for help unless it was absolutely necessary. Independence wasn't just a trait for him - it was a lifestyle.

He had a rough charm that could scare a stranger but make his loved ones laugh until they cried. He was grumpy, sure, but he had a heart that ran deep. If he cared about you, you knew it - even if he'd never come out and say it.

A pack of smokes, an ice-cold Coca-Cola, and time spent with his family were his idea of a fine day. He could sit for hours watching the world go by, and somehow, that seemed like enough. Between his work and his wandering spirit, he always made time to travel back home to Mexico - and always came home with a story.

He was a man of grit, humor, and zero pretense. He didn't give a damn about keeping up appearances, and that might just be what people loved most about him.

He leaves behind a family who will miss him dearly - Jose Manuel, Amparo, Catalina, Alejandro, Virginia, Ruben, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends. He is reunited with Guillermo, Carmen, Francisco, Miguel, Andres, Sylvia, who surely welcomed him with open arms and maybe even a cold Coke.

In honor of Guillermo, crack open a Coke, light up if that's your thing, and take a minute to appreciate the simple, stubborn joy of being exactly who you are.
