Maritza Rosales, a beloved homemaker, passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Hospice Savannah. Born on November 28, 1957, in Lakeland, Florida, she brought joy and warmth to the lives of all who knew her.
Maritza was a true people pleaser, dedicating herself to the happiness of her family and friends. Her nurturing spirit was evident through her hobbies and interests; she loved to color, sing, knit, and play school, finding joy in simple activities that brought smiles to those around her. A gifted cook, Maritza filled her home with love through her culinary creations, often sharing meals that became memorable gatherings for family and friends.
In 2024, one of her proudest accomplishments, she gave her life to Christ and was baptized, marking a significant moment in her spiritual journey. She attended Glennville First United Pentecostal Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Herminia Rosales and a nephew, Alex Rosales.
She is survived by:
Brother, Jose Rosales; grandchildren, Chelsie West (Slater), Princessa Allen (KT), Juanita Durrence; great grandchildren, Brandon, Junior, Harris, Levi and Maya Rosales, Kyrie and Zamora Durrence; nieces, Sabrina and Tabitha Rosales.
Visitation will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Brannen Family Funeral Services. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm at the chapel of Brannen Family Funeral Services. Burial will follow in Glennville Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are invited to come together to honor Maritza and wear her favorite color, Red.
Her memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
