Gussie L. Sirmans

Gussie Luvern Sirmans, 72, of Fountain, went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2022.
Gussie was born on May 28, 1950 in Panama City. She attended Millville and Everitt schools and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church. Gussie worked as a housekeeper at Bay Center, and in her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and family and playing bingo.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie John and Bertha Aaron; sisters, Weida Seabor and Lavinia Wooten; brothers, Rex Allen Aaron, Lawson Aaron, Dewey Aaron; son, James Arthur Sirmans; daughter, Linda Gail Locke; and grandchildren, Austin and Brittney Locke.
Left to treasure Gussie's memory are her sons, Kenneth Lamar Sirmans (Tabatha Marie), Ralph Alex Sirmans (Amber Lee) and Tommy Locke; grandchildren, Justin Alan Sirmans (Mallory Leah), Scotty Dewayne Locke (Melissa), Debbie Clement, Miranda Bradley (Justin), Mirana Kist, Haylee Sirmans, Kaylee Sirmans, and Keagan Daniels; great-grandchildren, Hunter, Shealynn, Kaylee, Richard, Trent, Paige, Brantley Lydia, Kaydence, Huckleberry and five others; brothers, Harris Aaron and Michael Aaron; nieces, Debra Bird, Tammy Nolan, Carolyn Charlotte and Tammie Seaborn; and nephews, Mark and David Aaron, Robert Aaron, William Seaborn and 16 others.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating.
