Obituary of Guy M. Carrier
Guy M. Carrier, 85, of Howell passed away at home on Thursday, February 15, 2024. He was born and raised in Quebec, Canada, and was the baby of twelve children.
Guy was predeceased by 10 siblings. He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosalba "Rose" Carrier; daughter, Denise McDevitt and her husband, Terence; grandchildren, Emma and Marley; and sister, Pauline Carrier.
He spent his teen years in Brooklyn, New York with his sister Loraine, before spending a short time in the Army. In the early 1960s, Guy met a young lady named Rosalba and their romance led to their wedding in Bogota, Colombia on June 19, 1965. They settled in Queens, New York for several years as Guy became a successful bond trader on Wall Street. They welcomed a baby girl, Denise Rose in 1969, and a few years later decided to move out of the city to live in New Jersey.
Spending time with family, walking the boardwalk at Belmar, Spring Lake and Long Branch beaches, and relaxing in the backyard were his treasured activities.
He was a devoted husband, father, pop-pop, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

I had the pleasure of working with Guy for 10+ years. Guy possessed a wonderful balance of work ethic and play ethic. He loved to share the incredible stories of his youth. However Guy's eyes were brightest when he would talk about his beloved wife Rose and his beloved daughter Denise. RIP my friend.
