Guy “G.E.” Edward Little, 82, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.
A funeral service will be held at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Friday, September 1, 2023, with Dr. Terry L. Lawson officiating at 11:00AM . The committal will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Wilkerson Funeral Home on Thursday evening, from 6:00-8:00PM and other times at the home.
G. E. Little was born on May 10, 1941, to the late Carroll and Anna Little in Catawba County. He was a strong, hardworking man who loved flowers, gardening, hunting, fishing. G.E. loved his wife, Annie Mae, more than anything and he loved spending time with his family.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Annie Mae Little and his daughter, Donna Gail Little; brothers, Russell Little, Bob Little, Johnny Little, and David Little
Survivors include his children, Renea Friddle (Todd), Mike Little (Terri), Glenn Little (Dawn), and Linda Little; grandchildren, Kristy, Holly, Madison, Hannah, Alissa, Zakk, and Josh; great grandchildren, Lexi and Kloe; brother, Joe Little; sisters, Annie Lou Miller and Brenda French, along with a large and loving extended family.
The family would like to say a very special thank you to Dr. Zach Hall, MD and his staff, Annie Penn Hospital and their staff, as well as to Hospice of Rockingham County and their staff for the exceptional care they gave to G.E. They would also like to recognize his great-grandchildren, Lexi and Kloe for keeping their promise and cutting his hair after he passed.
The family would also like to thank Wilkerson Funeral Home for their care and Dr. Terry Lawson for his many years of friendship and dedication to G.E. and the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Rockingham County, HRC at PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375 or, to New Heights Baptist Church at 2796 HWY 14, Reidsville, NC 27320.
