Guy P. Gravitt, age 66, was born on August 8, 1959, to Guy P. Gravitt Sr. and Margie Thorpe in Moberly, Missouri passed away peacefully on December 8, 2025, at the Moberly Regional Medical Center. He was a devoted family man who cherished his loved ones deeply. Guy’s warmth and kindness were evident in his character as he would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Guy graduated from Westran HIgh School and was a member of the Sweet Springs Baptist Church. He was united in marriage to Marita Summers on April 24 in Huntsville, Missouri, a union that stood as a testament to his loving nature and commitment.
Guy had a love for the outdoors. He was a great hunter and fisherman, creating lasting memories with friends and family.
Guy leaves behind a cherished family, including his children Ramita, Jacob, and Katie, and his grandchildren Addison and Weston, along with his great-grandchildren Quincey and Mavrick. He is also survived by his siblings Paula, Parlee, and Artie.
Guy was preceded in death by his mother Margie and father Jim Cruchfield, as well as his biological father Guy Gravitt Sr.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Guy's generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
