Guy Allan Schinke, age 63, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13. He was born in Neenah on June 9, 1960. He graduated from Neenah High School and retired from GNC.
Guy was a passionate outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and wildlife photography. He was a hardworking and kind person, willing to help out anyone who needed it. He enjoyed spending his time in the company of good friends.
Along with a few aunts, uncles, and cousins, Guy was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Hilda and Henry Schinke and Marcella and Philip Whitpan; stepfather, Delmar Wittmann; and stepbrother, David Lamers.
He is survived by his father, Marvin (Martha) Schinke; mother, Judy Wittmann; siblings, Tammy Mucha and Suzanne Klockzien; stepbrother, Jay (Lisa) Lamers; best friend, Jimmy and Carol; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family.
A gathering will be held for Guy on Thursday, August 24, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at the Laemmrich Chapel, 312 Milwaukee St, Menasha. Because of Guy’s love for nature, guests are welcome to wear camo.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
In our deep mourning we know the angels are welcoming Guy home until we meet again.

Almost two years since his passing. His time here was way too short. Remember all the good times,after work at Dura Products ,where we first worked together. Glad i had the chance of sharing good times together with him.

I worked with Guy at Dura products years before we both moved on to Great Northern Corp . We partyed many times after work in those younger days . He was a very nice person and loved the outdoors . I will always remember him as such. Sad to hear of his passing .
