Gwen Ann Adams, age 70, passed away on Friday, October 25, 2024. A memorial service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 11AM on Saturday, November 9, 2024 with visitation to be held an hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Graceland cemetery. Pastor Eileen Woyen will be officiating.

Gwen was born on October 17, 1954 in Albert Lea to Albert and Marjorie (Turtness) Jensen. She grew up in Albert Lea along with her brother Mike, getting into mischief together. She graduated from Albert Lea High School in 1972, then continued her education at Riverland Community College and graduated with an Associate's degree in drafting. She began her career at Rosemount Aerospace in the Cities. Later, after her marriage to Dave Adams, she became a draftsman for Featherlite Trailers where her husband was a salesman in Cresco, IA. While married they traveled to the Netherlands and purchased 4 Friesians (royal carriage horses). They also raised and trained Percherons. They went to the Calgary Stampede, the Britt horse show and the Freeborn County Fair, where they won many awards. She and Dave divorced amicably after 10 years. Shortly after divorcing she moved to Albert Lea with her mother. She worked a few different places before her health started to fail. She had a soft spot for animals of all kinds especially her dog and cats. She was very talented with arts and crafts of many kinds. When she moved into the Senior Towers a year ago, she had a blast spending time with others in the building and enjoyed playing bingo with them, even if she was always late. Something she was known for.

She is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Marjorie Jensen, and her grandparents.

She is survived by her brother Mike (Andrea) Jensen, nephew Colton Jensen and his daughter Sophia, niece Callan (Zach) Neubauer and their daughters Margot and Harriet, and many cousins and friends.
