She was born on January 12, 1965 to Robert Reed and Donna (Sparkman) Reed. Gwen married Jimmy Webb on October 31, 2008 in Mount Vernon, Texas. She was a nurse's aide at Hopkins Memorial Hospital and at nursing homes in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
Gwen is survived by her husband Jimmy Webb; son, Justin Reed; and two sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
