Gwendolyn Hughes Obituary

Gwendolyn R. Hughes - age 51 of Lenoir City, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 15, 2023. She was a member of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church for many years. She was graduate of Lenoir City High School and the University of Tennessee. Gwen loved her family and friends dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene G. Hughes, Jr. and Patsy Duff Hughes.
Survived by her brother Kevin Eugene Hughes and wife, Chris of Knoxville; nieces and nephew, Ashley, Kara and Tyler Hughes; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21st at Click Funeral Home in Lenoir City. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Tim Defendorf officiating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to: "Walk to End Alzheimers" www.alz.org. Click Funeral Home, 109 Walnut Street, Lenoir City is in charge of arrangements.

I am so broken-hearted to hear of this! I worked with Gwen in CLS at ORNL-FCU. She was always a delight to be around! Prayers for you and your family at this sad time
