Gwendolynne Skinner Obituary

Kerrville, Texas - Gwendolynne Willette Means Skinner passed away September 6, 2025 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Kerrville, Texas. Gwen had been a resident of Pharr and an instructor at Pan American University School of Nursing for over 35 years. Gwendolynne is preceded in death by her parents, husband Jerry Skinner and sister LaVerne Altman. Survivors include her children Webby Skinner and Denise Skinner, granddaughter Gina Skinner, sister Myrna Flannery as well many beloved nieces, nephews and grandnieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday September 15, 2025 at Grimes Funeral Home in Kerrville, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday September 16, 2025 at Grimes Funeral Home in Kerrville, Texas with Frank Pullen of Western Hills Church officiating. A graveside service and burial will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Edinburg, Texas.
