Halie Renae Johnson November 9, 2003 – August 15, 2025

Halie Renae Johnson, 21, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was tragically taken from us far too soon, leaving behind a legacy of love, light, and compassion.

Halie was born with a heart of gold and carried a passion for helping others in everything she did. She was a ray of sunshine to all who knew her; radiant, smart, and deeply loving. She lived life with an energy and compassion that touched countless hearts. She had an infectious smile, a quick wit, and a caring spirit that drew people to her. To know Halie was to be uplifted by her kindness, her laughter, and her unwavering belief of the good in others.

A proud graduate of Veterans Memorial High School, Class of 2022, Halie excelled academically, graduating with top honors, before immediately pursuing her dream of becoming a nurse through Del Mar College's nursing program, where she had just reached Level 4 and was set to graduate in December 2025 as a Registered Nurse, and then furthering her education through the BSN program. Halie's dedication to caring for others was evident through her work as a nurse extern at Doctor's Regional Hospital. She also poured her energy and joy into her family's businesses, working at Padre Island Burger Company and Flock. She gave her all in everything she did, whether at work, in school, or with those she loved.

Halie loved life fully and deeply. She cherished shopping trips, dining out and going to concerts with her sister, evenings with friends, movie nights, dancing at raves and trips to the beach. She adored her cats and had a sense of adventure that carried her across the globe, becoming an international traveler at just 19 during her first trip to Japan. Halie embraced life to the fullest. She truly did it all in her short yet vibrant time in this world. Her laughter, kindness, and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten. Her radiant smile, big hugs, and love for life left an unforgettable mark on everyone she met.

She is survived by her loving parents, Logan and Misty Johnson; her sister, Madison Johnson; her grandparents, Ray and Denise Johnson; her uncles and aunts, Jason and Rachel Johnson, and Dillon and Christy Johnson; her cousins, Lucy, Carson, and

Avery Johnson; and her great-aunt, Charlene Spence. She was a shining light to all her family and friends, and her memory will forever be cherished.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, 3401 Santa Fe, Corpus Christi, Texas, followed by a short reception. In honor of Halie's bright spirit, attendees are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear her favorite colors: pinks, purples, reds, and black. No formal funeral attire is required.

Halie's life, though far too short, was filled with love, joy, and purpose. She will be remembered through the countless lives she touched, for her infinite kindness, her determination, and the way she made the world brighter simply by being in it.
