Hamish Roy McLeish

Dover-Foxcroft and Holbrook, MA – Hamish Roy McLeish, 65, died March 9, 2025, after a period of failing health.
For many years, Hamish was an avid softball player. He enjoyed the many great friendships made through the years. Most recently he played the Senior Softball League in Scituate. For over twenty years, Hamish worked as an etcher for Tech Etch in Plymouth. He served in the Navy as a SeaBee and was a lover of classic rock.
Hamish was the son of the late Faith and David McLeish. He is the loving brother of Pamela McLeish of Holbrook, MA; David McLeish and his wife Ressie of Newport; Andrew McLeish and his wife Sandy of Centreville, VA; and Richard McLeish of Holbrook, MA; and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his first great-great-niece, Mackenzie Joy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on April 12th from 11 AM - 1 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home South Weymouth, at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 1 PM in the funeral home.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours in Maine on May 3rd at Lary Funeral Home, 62 Summer Street in Dover-Foxcroft from 10 AM - 12 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 12 PM in the funeral home.
Hamish's family will be forever grateful to the nursing staffs on Pratt 4 and Pratt 5 at South Shore Hospital and Ellison 4 ICU and Ellison 20 at MA General Hospital for the incredible care they provided.
