Han Zhang Chen

Mr. Chen Hanzhang was born November 6, 1928, Henan, China. He graduated in 1954 from the Chinese top University, at Language Department of Peking University.
1954 - 1972 he served for the Chinese central government. He participated in the reception of Mr. Ho Chi Minh, the Chairman of Vietnam. After that he worked in the protocol department of the National Sports Commission. 1981 Sep 21, he successfully held the first Beijing International Marathon game. He is the person who introduced the marathon to China. In 1984, he introduced and organized a hot air balloon event in Beijing China, that's where he met Mr. Forbes and became friends with him and his family. In 1985 at the invitation of Prince Mikasanomiya (brother of the Japanese Showa Emperor), he brought a figure skating delegation visited Japan. In 1986, he was the director of the Fundraising Department of the Organizing Committee of the 11th Asian Games in Beijing. In 1996 he founded Beijing Marathon Fitness Equipment Co., Ltd. as a CEO. 2002, Mr. Chen Hanzhang retired and moved to Los Angeles with his wife, Ms. Zhang Jinhui.
Mr. Chen's life was extremely exciting. From him, we saw his noble character of perseverance, hard work and enterprising.
