Hanna Staniec, a beloved matriarch, was called home to be with the Lord on August 2, 2025, at the age of 87. Born on November 20, 1937, in Warsaw, Poland, Hanna's journey brought joy and love to the many lives she touched. A testament to her strength and resilience, she left her birthplace, settling in Trenton, New Jersey and retiring in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Hanna was the devoted wife of the late Antoni Staniec, with whom she shared a lifetime of memories and unwavering partnership. She was the cherished daughter of the late Stefan and Roma Maciatek and was predeceased by her dear brother, Seweryn Maciatek. Her legacy continues through her adoring family: her sons Zdzislaw Staniec and his wife, Donna, and Andrzej Staniec with his companion Christine Muller; her precious granddaughter, Jessica Staniec; her grandson, Mark Staniec, and his companion, Sherri Kopf-Milnes; and her granddaughter Monica Wollert and her husband, Steve. Hanna's memory will also be treasured by her great-grandchildren: Sophia, Madison, Elyn, and Patrick Staniec, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Before retiring in 1998, Hanna dedicated many years of diligent service as a Quality Control Inspector at Roller Bearing Company of America in Trenton, NJ. Her commitment to excellence was evident in her work, and she was respected by her colleagues for her attention to detail and unwavering integrity. Hanna's faith in Christ was the cornerstone of her life. She lived her faith through her actions, always embodying the love and grace taught in the Scriptures. Her Catholic values were reflected in the way she nurtured her family, offering guidance, support, and unconditional love.
Cooking was Hanna's art form, and she found great pleasure in preparing traditional Polish cuisine for her loved ones. Her kitchen was the heart of her home, where the aroma of her famous dishes would welcome family and friends. The time spent around the dinner table was cherished, as it was an opportunity for family to share stories, laughter, and wisdom.
Hanna's spirit was one of generosity and hospitality, always ensuring that those around her felt valued and cared for. Her life was a beautiful tapestry woven with threads of devotion, hard work, and a deep love for her family both in the United States and in Poland. She will be profoundly missed by her extended family abroad, who held a special place in her heart.
As we bid farewell to Hanna Staniec, we celebrate a life well-lived, a life that exemplified the virtues of kindness, patience, and faith. She has left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her, and her memory will continue to inspire and guide us. Hanna's story does not end here, for she has entered the Kingdom of Heaven, rejoining with the love of her life, Antoni. We take comfort in knowing that we will one day be reunited with them in eternal glory.
