Hannah Jo Wolsey, age 26, Carthage, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Carthage Health and Rehab, Carthage, Missouri. She was born on October 12, 1998, in Joplin, Missouri, the daughter of Sherri Culley-McKinney and Rick Wolsey. Hannah brought joy and light into the lives of all who knew her.
Hannah was known for her artistic talents, particularly in makeup and hair styling. She harbored a passion for beauty and creativity that she lovingly shared with her friends and family. Sundays were her favorite day of the week, not just because of the delicious dinners, but because it was a day spent around the table at her Grandma's house, encompassed by the warmth and laughter of her nearest and dearest.
Hannah is deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family. Survivors include her mother, Sherri Culley-McKinney; her father, Rick Wolsey; her caring sister, Haley McKinney; her cherished grandmother, Betty Newman; and her beloved aunts and uncles, Terri Land, Brenda Martin (Pryde), Julie Wolsey-Tucker, Kevin Wolsey, and Brian Wolsey. Hannah's joyful spirit lives on in her cousins Ryan Land, Skylar Land, Brittany Smith, and Casey Martin, who, along with many extended family members and a host of friends, feel the absence of her bright presence.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Hannah will not forget her loving nature. Her radiant smile and friendly demeanor were constant sources of comfort and happiness to those around her. A thoughtful and kind soul, she never missed an opportunity to reach out and help others, making everyone she met feel like a friend.
Per Hannah's wishes, there was cremation. A celebration of life will be held at 12 pm Saturday, May 10, 2025 at the Carthage Municipal Park. Online condolences may be expressed through www.knellmortuary.com.
