I knew hannan from the hospital we both went to she was so kind and helped me get through the stay there, though I didn´t know her as well or as long as some of you I knew she was a good person and didn´t deserve what happened, she was the first and last person I hugged at the hospital and I wish that hug could´ve lasted longer. She loved her friends and family and I heard about them a lot. She also introduced me into book reading and since I have become a stronger reader, she always had a smile on her face and even if she was upset she made sure I was okay and thank you Hannah for everything you have taught me (and for sharing your chocolate ice-cream with me lol) it´s sad how it turned out but she´s in a better place now and even if she´s not here she´s in our hearts and making sure we´re doing good, sometimes when I miss her I paint blue and purple jellyfishes in her honor. I remember always reminding her to fix her septum when it was crooked and reminding her when she needs to look up from her book while someone was talking lol forever in memory and in our hearts. Long live hannan

Hannan and I had known each other for years and ever since the beginning, Our friendship has meant so much to me. I will cherish all the memories we have shared. I'll never forget the laughs we had, the stories we shared, and the lessons we learned together. Even though she's no longer here, the impact she had on my life will never be forgotten. I will never forget how much of an amazing friend and person she truly was, and how much she's always meant to me. I'm thankful for everything we shared and for every moment we had together. My condolences go to her family, I wish them the best.

Hannan was my best friend. She was the sweetest person I have ever known. I can´t express all of my feelings about her simply in one paragraph. We met in the library at our school. I´ve spent countless hours at her house, she spent countless at mine. I liked playing with her dogs, going on car rides with her, listening to music with her. Reading with her, going to bookstores with her, sitting next to her in class. She would pick me up from school whenever I needed it. She was always there for me, and I her. Her favorite movie was All the Bright Places, it was also for her favorite book. One night we watched the movie together in her room and after she read me poetry. Hannan Vanella was my best friend, and I´ll miss her forever.

I am so sad to hear this. Hannan was in my 1st grade PE class. She was a good girl. Always striving to do better with her skills. On her first day of middle school I happened to be at there. She came off the bus, walked right over to me, gave me a big hug, with a tear in her eye she said "I´m so scared." I hugged her back. I said, "It´s scary but you´ll be ok sweetie.." And off she went.

Hannan and I grew up together and our families also knew each other. We haven´t talked much since elementary school, but briefly met again in high school. When my hair was half shaved, she told me she cut her hair to look like me, and she always made me feel so important. We bonded over piercings and she was so easy to talk to. She was so sweet to me and every time I saw her she would compliment me. She tried to teach me how to crochet in grandma club but I never got the hang of it. She was so patient with me regardless, even if I messed up every time and missed all of her directions. My condolences to the family, she will be missed.

I knew Hannan from mutual friends and my sister was also friends with her. I hung out with her a couple times and she was the sweetest girl ever. Sometimes she would come to the place I worked and she would always say hi to me with the brightest smile on her face. My condolences go out to her family. Rest in peace beautiful girl.

I had the pleasure to be one of the leaders of Hannan´s Girl Scout Troop 56392. We spent years together creating memories. Hannan was so special, she was kind, and had the BIGGEST heart and smile. She was a jokester and her and I got along great because of her humor. This news is devastating the world lost a great human. My condolences go out to Stacey and family. She will be missed

a personal story/connection I would like to share is that I grew up with Hannan and had the most amazing experience with her while we were Girl Scouts. I had the pleasure of spending most night with Hannan doing fun games, crafts and selling cookies. But the most important thing of all that we learned was how leave a positive impact on others and the world and that is exactly what she did. I would like everyone to know who Hannan was she was extremely funny, genuine, gorgeous, a good teammate, smart and most of all she had grit and determination! We all should take time And think about how truly amazing she is. My heart goes out to her and her family. I would like to also share a few photos that depict who hannan was and still is.

When I met hannan it was in kindergarten. I don´t have a good memory but she would always be by my side through the ups and downs. We didn´t talk much this year. And I wish I could´ve helped her more. I can´t believe she´s gone. I hope she rests easy.

You were a really good friend, though we stopped being friends in about 8th grade..I never thought this would happen. You introduced me to one of my favorite shows, and I still watch it all the time. I'm sorry things didn't work out between us, but you'll still always be a good memory

When I had moved to a new school Hannan was one of the first person I met. She would make conversation with me so I wouldn´t feel left out. We weren´t the closest but we had a good bond. I wished I had known what she was going through to help out.

We met in elementary school since we went to a pretty small school compared to the usual ones in our area. When high school started up she would ask me about my piercings and I'd ask about hers, saying hi in the halls from time to time. She always had a smile on her face and the sweetest person to be around. I hope she is at peace now, I wish I knew what she was going through.

My first memory with hannan was meeting her in 4th grade summer school. I was so scared because i had no friends with me but she welcomed me to sit with her and we immediately clicked. I got closer to her this year and we bonded over shared experiences and our love for books. I knew she was struggling and I hope she´s finally at peace

My first memory of Hannan was us in my 4th grade class. I had just moved schools and I had no friends at hilltop but I remember her and another girl welcomed me and she told me all about her family and how her mom was a lunch lady, later that day she introduced me to her mom.
