Hans Elsen Obituary
Hans Henry Elsen, 94, of Greenwood Village (formerly Denver), CO, died in June of 2025. He was born in 1931 to Johann and Margarethe Elsen in New York, NY. He married Emma Louise Yonkons in 1956 and they had four children, Ronald (Karin) Elsen, Tim Elsen, Nancy Elsen and Judy (Vincent) Wolfe. He was honorably discharged after serving in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a sheet metal worker by trade and a proud union member his entire life. He also loved watching the Broncos play football. He is survived by his four children and four grandchildren (Brian Elsen, Louie Elsen, Toren Elsen, and Rachel Povilus). Information is listed below about the prayer service and interment. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in place of flowers.
