Hans Carl Heinrich passed away on September 14th of 2024. He was a person who enjoyed making a difference for the better for as many as he could. His nature was generous, and his heart was kind. Hans served 30 years in the United States Military before he and his wife, Nan, retired to Minnesota. They both became part of the community quickly and Hans served in various ways. He and three friends became the Cormorant Crack crew, filling the cracks in the roads with tar for the Cormorant communities. Hans also worked as a book binder, a Cenex driver delivering fertilizer to local farms, and drove beet truck for 25 + years. Hans helped start the, “Rosman, Nelson, Larson” Lake Association and served on the education board as chairman; being instrumental in the development of the Lake Park Audubon school consolidation, providing better education for both communities.
To his friends and family, Hans Heinrich was a lover of cars and a bigger lover of storytelling (often about cars) and more than a man of integrity and service. He was a man of heart. He was loved and will be missed.
He is survived by his wife, Nan; his son, Jon Heinrich and wife, Jane; daughters, Megan Hoyes; and Tamsin Wiley; Granddaughter’s Shelli Hoyes, and Copper Wiley.
No Service will be held.
