Hans Spinner Obituary
A man of many passions, Hans was an avid guitar player who loved rock 'n' roll. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, attending car shows, and spending time with the people he cared about. He was known for his easygoing nature, his mechanical know how, and the way he could make anyone feel welcome. He worked for many years with Mervis Recycling where he formed lasting friendships.
Hans is survived by his son, Mike (Stacy) Spinner of Marion, IN; grandchildren Issac Hayes, Arianna Hayes, A.J. Spinner, Leanna Spinner, Ava Hayes, and Olivia Hayes; brothers Roy (Ruth) Spinner and Ed (Nonis) Spinner; nephew Xavier (Megan) Spinner; nieces Zion (Cameron) Nuckles and Mallorey (James) Lawson; and "like a son," Aaron Smith. He is also survived by Tammy (Matt) Cunningham and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Lee Spinner, and his mother, Ingeburg Spinner
Hans will be remembered for his love of music, his generous spirit, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. His presence will be deeply missed.
The family will receive visitors from 1 pm to 3 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral and Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN, 46952.

Hans was like a grandpa to me and I love him dearly for all the love he's shown me and honestly I think he helped me pass my pass off I could not pass in band for 4 whole months until...last Friday thanks Hans for being with me in spirit-viola Johnson
