Harland LeRoy Beachy, 91, of Swanton, passed away on December 11, 2023, at Goodwill Retirement Community in Grantsville, MD. Born on March 24, 1932, in Accident, he was the son of the late John C Beachy and Bernice M. (Custer) Beachy.

Harland was a graduate of Oakland High School. He drove the milk truck for Mt. Country Trucking and was recognized as a hardworking and devoted employee.

He is survived by four sons, Michael Beachy and wife Tracy of Oakland, Larry Beachy and wife Bette of Westminster, Gary Beachy and wife Kelly of Swanton, and Mark Beachy of Frederick; ten grandchildren, Jason Beachy and wife Jennifer, Marcie Nelson and husband Derrick, Andrea Goodman and husband Mike, Laura Beachy and fiancé Will, Weston Beachy and wife Maggie, Brian Rayburn and wife Tiffany,  David Beachy and wife Amber, Daniel Beachy, Garrett Beachy and fiancee Hannah, and Ethan Beachy and fiancee Kathleen; thirteen great grandchildren, LeAnn and Lacey Beachy, Devin and fiancee Dalane, Kayla, Ryan, Genevieve Amburgey, Aliyah Stallings, Lillian and Annabell Goodman, Trenton Switzer, Jackson Beachy, Dalaney Nelson, Westley Beachy, and Addison Beachy, Parker Beachy, and Lucas Beachy; and two siblings, John N. Beachy and wife Wanda of Baltimore, and Jean A. Wright of Swanton. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Fern M. Lee, and great granddaughter, Riley M. Beachy.

Friends will be received at the C & S Fredlock Funeral Home, P.A., 21 N 2nd St., Oakland, on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 4 to 7 PM and Saturday, December 16, 2023, from 10 to 11 AM. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM with Pastor Tom Matthews officiating. Internment will follow in the Garrett County Memorial Gardens.
