Ochlocknee, Georgia - Harmon Glynn Griner, Jr., 59, of Ochlocknee, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, at Colquitt Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Zion Grove Assembly of God Church, with Reverend Tony Morris officiating.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service.
Born June 20, 1966, in Thomasville, Georgia, he was the son of Harmon Glynn Griner, Sr., who survives, and the late Catherine Sue Lightfoot Griner.
He worked for B and S Concrete Services in land conservation management, was a hard worker and loved spending time with his family, friends and faithful canine companion, Bentley.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Melisa Dawn Reed Watkins Gregory; daughter, Ashley Griner and husband, Dan Barfield; grandchildren, Elliott Barfield and Elise Barfield; sisters, Gina Griner and Natalie Griner; stepmother, Liza Griner; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
The family would like to express their appreciation to the medical staff at Colquitt Regional Medical Center for all of the care and support.
