Harold G. Brunsen, of Kingsville, TX and Wessington Springs, South Dakota passed away on March 24, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter. His warm memories will forever be cherished by those who knew him. Harold was born on April 3, 1932. 
Harold had a long and enjoyable career working aviation for the  United States Navy. He was a man who wore a smile that could light up any room bringing joy to those around him. He was a kind man who lived his life with grace, and faith in the Lord.

In addition to his successful career, Harold had a variety of hobbies and interests. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, conversations with friends, watching sports and making people laugh. Harold enjoyed life and cared deeply for others.

Harold will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 46 years, Virginita 'Margie' Corros Brunsen; his children Kimberley Jane Brunsen, Leslie Mae Brunsen, Steve Brunsen, and Carol Brunsen; granddaughter Ki'Anna Brunsen; nephew Mike Brunsen; and numerous extended family members. He is preceded in death by his parents George Brunsen and Ona Villbrandt; daughter Sharon Brunsen; and brother Alfred Brunsen.

Services to honor and celebrate Harold's life will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary in Kingsville, TX, with a viewing to take place on April 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on April 2, 2024, beginning at 8:00 AM with the Graveside Service to follow at Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery in Corpus Christi at 10:00 AM.

Harold G. Brunsen will be deeply missed but never forgotten. May he rest in peace knowing that he brought light and love to all those whose lives he touched.
