Harold Cayne Obituary
He was also preceded by his cherished wife, Ruby (Daley) Cayne, his brother Alfred Cayne Sr., and his son Michael Livingston. Harold Douglas Cayne Jr. was born in Bronx, New York by his parents proceeded in death Annie (Ricks) Cayne and Harold Douglas Cayne Sr. on February 5, 1941. He is proceeded by wife Ruby (Daley) Cayne, brother Alfred Cayne Sr., and son Michael Livingston.
Harold's early years were spent in Bronx, New York, where he received his education before proudly enlisting in the United States Army. Following his honorable discharge, he eventually moved to Toledo, Ohio, where he retired from BP refinery. Harold was also a dedicated Martial Arts Instructor, sharing his passion and skills with many. He found joy in socializing, hosting lively parties, traveling to his favorite destinations, especially Jamaica and Canada, and dancing. Harold had a fondness for Black Label Appleton and cherished moments spent with family and friends.
Harold's legacy lives on through his loving family: his children, Kaliym Islam (Kathy), Dawn Marcano, Alfred Cayne, Mark Cayne, Barbara Cayne, and Alexis (Barry) Day. He is also survived by his brother, Robert Cayne Sr., and a host of beautiful grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold him in their hearts. Harold's warmth, generosity, and zest for life touched all who knew him. His spirit will forever be a part of our lives.
