Harold Bryant Cook

Harold Bryant Cook, 91, of Snow Camp, NC passed away at his residence on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

A native of Corinth County, KY, he was the husband of Nelda Moser Cook, who survives and the son of Elvin Cook and Viola Abbott Cook, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force. Harold was an avid hunter and golfer and former member of Mountain View Ruritan Club. He was a member of Hico Baptist Church.

Harold was a loving husband, father, grandparent, and great grandparent. In addition to his wife of their home, survivors include two daughters, Sheila Chappell and Lori Blackwood and husband Dennis; son, Bryant Cook; stepson, Kenneth Doby; six grandchildren, Eugenia Rogers and husband Jerrid, Casey Terrell and husband, L.T., Stacey Cook, Chad Birchett, Michelle Townsend, and Carrie Campos, and one step granddaughter, Samantha Doby; 23 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Alice Glackling and Pet Dennier and a brother in law, Don Moser. He was preceded in death by 12 siblings and a stepson, Randy Doby.

The funeral service will be conducted at Hico Baptist Church on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. by Pastor Walter Jones and Pastor Dave Mros with the family receiving friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Mt. Hermon Church Cemetery.
