Harold Wayne Cooper, Sr., 75, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026. Born in Spartanburg, he was the son of the late Harold and Lucille Myers Cooper and the husband of Frances Huckabee Cooper. He was retired from Felters Company after forty-five years. Wayne was a veteran of the US Army, having served in Vietnam. He loved golf and crappy fishing.
Survivors also include his son, Harold Wayne Cooper, Jr.; his daughter, Heather Marie Johnson and husband, Jeremy; two sisters, Yvonne Allen and Lynn Lindsey; four grandchildren, JD Weeks, Dillon Blackwell, Harrison Blackwell and Haley Cooper; and four great-grandchildren, Rowan, Mac, Reid and Carter. He was predeceased by a sister, Jackie McGowan.
