Whether you were officially a "client" or not, we were buddies. And grief doesn´t follow job titles or boundaries. A month from today marks a year since you've went to be with the Lord..I still miss you friend! I still think of you, speak to you, listen to your voicemails. Because of you, I do my best to go the extra mile and help the people that call in to this job. I was able to help you, and it made a difference. And it's in your name that i go the extra mile for others. You are such an amazing soul Harold. I miss my friend. Can't wait til we meet again. I've got the biggest hug to give you.

Mr. Davis always called my phone with a smile. His smile was infectious even through the phone. There was never a dull moment in our conversations and he lifted my spirits, even on the worst days. I last saw him just before Mother's Day. He gifted me the most beautiful plant for the assistance I'd given him, and I know now that I should've hugged him tighter. Harold Davis taught me that no matter what you are facing, there is always a reason to smile. May God protect his soul until we laugh together again.
