Harold Louis Dyer, 82, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025, at Onion Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation in Austin, Texas, after a long and courageous journey with dementia.
Born on January 14, 1943, in Houston, Texas, Harold was the son of Harold Franklin Dyer and Rose Inez Mills. He was a devoted husband to the late Marcelina Ruiz and a proud father to three children: Kevin Louis Dyer, the late Susan Lynn Dyer, and Ruby Lynn Dyer.
Harold’s quiet strength, dedication to family, and steady presence were constants in the lives of those who loved him. Though a man of few words, his actions always spoke volumes. He was known for his resilience, kindness, and deep love for his children.
He is survived by his son Kevin, daughter Ruby, and sister Cheryl Lynn Herrera, along with extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. He is reunited in rest with his beloved wife Marcelina and daughter Susan.
