Lt. Col. Harold Moultrie "Bubba" Edwards Jr. (Ret.)

Harold Moultrie Edwards, Jr. died on April 10, 2023. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, 2023, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Bubba will be laid to rest with full military honors on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at Beaufort National Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Harold Moultrie Edwards, Jr. was born in 1946 in Charleston. He attended Bishop England High School and The University of Mississippi. He served in the Air Force and was the Mayor of Centerville and a Rotary Club member. Harold Moultrie Edwards, Jr. is survived by his wife, Sue Smith Edwards, his son, Harold Moultrie Edwards, III, his daughters, Christianna Coffing and Amelia Vietri, and his grandchildren, Aaron Edwards, James Coffing, Anne Coffing, Julianna Vietri, Lawton Vietri, and Poppy Vietri. He is also survived by his sister, Joan Edwards McCormick, and his sister, Pamela Edwards Bingham. Harold Moultrie Edwards, Jr. was preceded in death by his father, Harold Moultrie Edwards, Sr., and his mother, Mabel Edwards.
